Jamie Bignall
Organization Planning Manager, Executive Office
Jamie Bignall has worked at Americans for the Arts since 2002. As organization planning manager, Jamie manages organization development efforts such as supervisors training, internal communications, and implementing, tracking, and communicating activities related to the Americans for the Arts strategic plan. Prior to her organization planning work in the executive office, Jamie worked on the meetings and events team. Later, she coordinated activities related to the Americans for the Arts Emerging Leaders Network, including program planning and implementation of the Emerging Leader preconference in 2005. Jamie has served as a panel facilitator at the Arts Extension Service’s Winter Institute in Arts Management and volunteers as an adult literacy teacher with the Washington Literacy Council. Jamie has a bachelor's degree in business administration and human resources from The Ohio State University. Her artistic experiences lie in dance and photography, but she is greatly interested in all forms of art, especially the amazing live theater she is able to take advantage of in Washington, DC.
