Karen Zornow Leiding
Director of Arts & Business Council of New York Programs
Karen Zornow Leiding, Director of Arts & Business Council of New York Programs, has spent most of her career in New York City’s arts and business worlds. Prior to joining ABC/NY in 2007, she was the director of corporate relations at Manhattan Theatre Club, where she managed corporate philanthropy and partnerships. Previously, she worked in marketing, sponsorship, and events at the Times Square Alliance (formerly the Times Square Business Improvement District), where she managed events such as New Year’s Eve in Times Square, Broadway on Broadway, and the annual Taste of Times Square food festival as well as communitywide promotions, working closely with local businesses. She has also worked as an account executive for New York and national campaigns at Broadway ad agency Serino Coyne, as customer service manager at the entertainment industry ticket agency Tele-charge, and as director of marketing at Off Broadway’s Circle Repertory Company. Before moving to New York, she worked for seven years London, primarily in the fields of theater marketing and management. She has served on the boards of the Midtown West Business Association and NYC’s Professional Performing Arts School.
