Americans for the Arts Scholarships

Underserved Community and Emerging Leader Scholarships
Americans for the Arts, in partnership with the Hilton Milwaukee City Center in Milwaukee, WI, and Midwest Airlines, is pleased to announce the recipients of full scholarships to attend Living Cultural Democracy: Arts in Changing Communities. Five recipients from underserved communities and five emerging leaders were awarded full scholarships including registration, airfare, and lodging. This opportunity generated an enormous response from extremely worthy individuals. Please join us in congratulating the following scholarship recipients:

Americans for the Arts Preconference Scholarships
Americans for the Arts is please to announce the recipients of preconference reimbursement scholarships, awarded to arts leaders attending the 2006 public art, united arts funds, or arts education preconferences. These scholarship awardees received three nights' paid accomodations at the convention hotel, the Milwaukee Hilton City Center. Americans for the Arts Convention Reimbursement Scholarships
Americans for the Arts is pleased to announce the recipients of reimbursement scholarships for arts leaders attending Living Cultural Democracy: Arts in Changing Communities. These scholarship awardees received $500 to be used for registration, travel, housing, or other expenses incurred by attending the convention. State and Local Art Agency Scholarship Opportunities

Many state, statewide, and regional arts agencies offer scholarships for people in their service areas to attend the convention. Assistance is often in the form of registration or travel subsidies. Subsidy opportunities are listed below in alphabetical order by state. Check back often, as a list of participating organizations, along with contact information and application deadlines, will be updated on a regular basis.

Details: The subsidy is provided through Professional Advancement Stipends Grants of up to $450 that are available to staff and board members of Nevada arts and cultural organizations.
