Jim currently serves as the executive director for the Arts & Cultural Alliance of Central Florida, a nonprofit trade and marketing association that exists to increase participation in the arts in the seven counties within Central Florida. Jim is a seasoned marketer, producer, event planner, and promoter with more than 15 years of experience in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. In the for-profit sector, Jim spent eight years driving sales, marketing, and new business development in residential construction. Jim entered the nonprofit community in 1999 when he became area director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Currently, he specializes in building strategic community alliances, project management, web marketing, and audience development for the Alliance. He also is currently receiving his M.B.A through the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College via the Martin Bell Scholarship. The Martin Bell Scholarship is provided to one Orlando area nonprofit executive as a full-ride scholarship to receive an M.B.A. He was the first arts and culture sector recipient in the 17-year history.
