Scott Gerloff has 35 years of historic preservation experience. Currently, he directs the National Trust Tours program and is the lead staff person on the Trust’s Heritage Travel Initiative. Prior to returning to the Trust in 2006, he was president of Historic Connections, a consulting company, focusing on heritage tourism, commercial revitalization, and creation of earned income strategies for various clients. From 1978–1997, he held several leadership positions at the Trust at the executive director level with Historic Hotels of America, Licensing and Product Development, Corporate Marketing, and Preservation Programs and Services and National Main Street Center. Mr. Gerloff was the founder of Historic Hotels of America and a co-founder of the National Main Street Center.
