Liana Perez is founder and member of the present Board of Directors of the Caracas Press Club. She is the founder of Asicor, a community development nonprofit association—the first of its kind in Venezuela—where a group of companies within the same industrial area get together with the regional government to solve service and security issues. She is an image consultant and handles media relations tied to senior management for clients such as: MAC, Miami World Theater Fstival, Pepsico, Viagra, and Electricidad de Caracas, the main private power generating company in Venezuela. Perez also publishes art books, magazines, such as Arts Circuits, and guides about Greater Miami's visual arts. Prior, she was corporate communications general manager for Corimon, a Venezuelan chemical conglomerate and the director of the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency in Caracas. She is a member of the National Association of Journalists, Public Relations Association of Venezuela, and the South Florida International Press Club.
