Vice President of External Grants & Research
United Arts of Central Florida

Trudy D. Wild is vice president of external grants & research at United Arts of Central Florida. With 30 years' experience in administration, including almost 10 years at United Arts (UA), she now manages two grants programs through the Tourist Development Tax (TDT) Revenue Project Funding in collaboration with Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs, awarding more than $3 million annually. Wild is responsible for all United Arts- and program-related research, which this year includes an audience research project working with Americans for the Arts and the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau and 18 cultural events.

Until this year, Wild also managed the UA grants department, with administration of the general operating support, organizational project grants, professional development grants and education programs, and oversight of government and contract service agreements. With a passion for individual artists, Wild fostered a collaboration with Crealdé School of Art to host a multimedia exhibition called Granted!, celebrating the artwork of three years of professional development grant recipients, primarily in visual art. She was awarded an Outstanding Advocate of the Arts award in recognition of her ongoing support for the arts and cultural community.
