Michael Wiggins

MUD/BONE

Michael Wiggins is the Founder and Artistic Director of the MUD/BONE Collective, Inc., a nonprofit, multi-arts organization based in the South Bronx. Along with the Board of Directors, he is responsible for managing all aspects of MUD/BONE's day-to-day operations, arts education workshops, theater productions, and printmaking activities. On behalf of the company, he recently accepted a 2006 Union Square Arts Award for innovative, grassroots arts programming. Wiggins has developed and facilitated numerous theater arts workshops for young people and adults in New York City. He is on the faculty of the Public Theater’s Shakespeare Lab and served on the writing committee for the theater component of the NYC Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts.
