Janna Schwartz, ARTWorks for Kids Program Manager, connects coalition organizations with major donors and policy makers to create an effective network of advocates for increased funding for youth arts organizations. During her six year tenure at the Massachusetts Cultural Council, she administered a $1.5 million cultural economic development initiative. As a facilitator, grant maker, and arts administrator, she launched new municipal agencies through the merger of eight local cultural councils into two new regional councils, a series of grant making workshops in conjunction with the Ford Foundation, and several statewide conferences and advocacy events.
