Kim Walesh is an Economic Development Strategist who led the creation of San Jose's Economic Development Plan. As Deputy Director of the Office of Economic Development, she is responsible for overseeing the work of the Office of Cultural Affairs and for leading the city's efforts to activate its downtown through the use of 'small wonders' and 'big deals' such as public art, creative retail, and enhanced pedestrian amenities.
