Laura Griffith is the Assistant Director of the Fairmount Park Art Association (the nation’s first public art organization). Since 1990 she has overseen their collections management and award-winning conservation program. Griffith previously held positions at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and ICA. She coordinated the national conference, Public Art in America ’87, and contributed to the Archetype Press publication, Conservation Maintenance of Contemporary Art. Griffith is also the Co-Founder/Facilitator of the Public Art Forum and serves on Philadelphia’s Conservation Advisory Committee.
