Daniel Windham is Director of Arts for The Wallace Foundation, a champion of long-term investments in systemic reform that has been undergoing internal strategic planning for its arts giving. At The Wallace Foundation, Windham leads both its Excellence Awards, which seek to develop effective ways for arts organizations to engage more people, and its Arts for Young People initiative, which endeavors to help cities devise means of strengthening youth access to high-quality arts education. Before joining the Foundation, Daniel served in a variety of leadership positions within arts organizations, including the Cleveland Music School Settlement, Kansas City Young Audiences Inc., the New York Philharmonic, and the National Symphony Orchestra.
