In conjunction with the 50th Anniversary, Americans for the Arts asked why the arts matter to you with the announcement of the Why Arts Matter Video Contest.

This year, we kicked off National Arts and Humanities Month by announcing the winners of the  Why Arts Matter Video Contest.  Congratulations to the winners, and thank you for all the inspirational and creative submissions!
