Arts Advocacy Day Conference Highlights

April 12: 

  • Learn about the current arts issues circulating on Capitol Hill, including the latest research and talking points, during the legislative training sessions.

  • Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Josh Groban speaks to arts advocates at Arts Advocacy Day 2009.
  • Attend the 23rd Annual Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Watch video of last year's lecture by jazz musician Wynton Marsalis.
April 13:
  • Hear from members of Congress and acclaimed artists at the Congressional Arts Kick Off on Capitol Hill.

  • Join other arts advocates from your state to make the case for arts and arts education to your members of Congress.
