Ellen Morgan
Ellen Morgan is the Executive Director of Kansas Citizens for the Arts. An active volunteer for the arts, Ellen Morgan is the former Executive Director of the Association of Community Arts Agencies of Kansas (ACAAK), an organization that closed its' doors on December 31, 2006 after years of service to Kansas Citizens. Since 1982, Ellen has administered this statewide, culturally diverse art service nonprofit organization with an approximate budget of $120,000, offering guidance and assistance to more than 120 arts agencies. Ms. Morgan's areas of expertise include public presentation, conference and workshop production, board skills, office management, and organization of projects. In her position as executive director of ACAAK, Ms. Morgan participates in advocacy, public relations, fiscal management, fundraising, statewide resources, and long range planning. Ms. Morgan serves on the boards of the State Arts Advocacy League of America and the National Community Arts Network, and is the chair of the Tourism Arts Alliance of Kansas.
