Jan Selman

Jan has dedicated her life’s work to strengthening the arts community in Georgia and the Southeast. In addition to leading ALL-GA, she serves on the boards of directors of the Southern Arts Federation, the Cultural Tourism Board of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Advisory Board of the Georgia Shakespeare Festival. Jan’s arts advocacy career includes tenures as chairman of the Georgia Council for the Arts and executive director of the DeKalb Council for the Arts. Jan also served as legislative vice president of Georgia Citizens for the Arts, which suspended operations in 2003. Her work on behalf of the arts has earned her an Abby Award from the Metropolitan Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and a Mary Clark Community Arts Award. As executive director of ALL-GA, Jan serves as the state advocacy chair for Americans for the Arts.
