Please consider the following ways you can include Americans for the Arts in your will or other estate plans:

  • Bequests
    One of the simplest ways to support Americans for the Arts' future, a bequest provides a gift for the organization in your will. Consider the following language to include in your will, and complete our Bequest Notification Form [PDF] to notify us of your bequest intentions.
  • Beneficiary Designations
    By designating Americans for the Arts as a beneficiary, you may reduce the taxes on assets such as:

    • Your IRA or other qualified retirement plan
    • Life insurance policy
    • Investment or brokerage account
  • Charitable Remainder and Lead Trusts
    Trusts offer a number of ways to provide income to you or a beneficiary, defer or eliminate gains taxes, and make a charitable deduction to Americans for the Arts. The most frequently used trusts are described here.
