This membership is for the established field leaders. Your work is seen as the blueprint for arts organization success and the more members can learn from you, the more you help Americans for the Arts achieve the unified goal of enriching the arts profession.

Preferred Plus Members receive all Preferred benefits and will receive up to 15 printed copies of the Arts Link magazine to share with other staff and board members, plus your organization will receive one 30-day FREE and one 60-day FREE posting in the Americans for the Arts Job Bank ($350 total value), $500 off customized arts and economic impact study fees and unlimited FREE Creative Industries reports, customized for your community! Preferred Level

Benefits for all your staff and board members

The no holds barred membership is inviting to organizations with more than 20 staff members and a large board of directors; this gets everyone exposed to all of the action!

Preferred Members receive all Strategic benefits and will receive up to 12 printed copies of the Arts Link magazine to share with colleagues and constituents. Plus your organization will receive one 60-day FREE posting in the Americans for the Arts Job Bank (valued at $200) and will receive three FREE Creative Industries reports, customized for your community (a $75 total value)!

Ideal for firmly established arts organizations and corporations that have an extensive reach (state, regional, national) and can depend upon Americans for the Arts to appeal to the interests of all who receive member information.

Strategic Level - $500

Benefits for up to TEN staff/board members

This membership is for any organization that is on the precipice of being the community arts leader in its area. Ten staff and/or board members can enjoy all of the great benefits offered at the Core benefits and will receive 10 printed copies of the Arts Link magazine to share with other colleagues. Plus, your organization will receive one FREE Creative Industries report, customized for your community (valued at $25)!

Ideal for trailblazing local arts agencies that understand the importance of getting their board of directors involved in the process. A 10-person member roster gets your board closer to the action and closer to understanding the impact of the work you are doing.

Core Level

Benefits for up to FIVE staff/board members

This membership is for organizations that have begun to plant roots in their communities and would like deeply immerse themselves in policy and procedure to improve the cultural health of their community.

Core Members receive all Choice benefits and will also receive five printed copies of the Arts Link magazine to share with other staff and board members. Your organization will receive $60 off job postings in Americans for the Arts Job Bank and a FREE 30-Day Job Bank posting (valued at $150).

Ideal for discipline organizations (theater and dance companies, symphonies, museums) that have staff designated to various tasks of daily operations.

Benefits for up to THREE staff/board members

This membership is for any organization that would like to strengthen its organization by accessing membership benefits for three staff/board members.

Choice Members receive all organizational member benefits, plus will receive three printed copies of the Arts Link magazine to share with other staff and board members and your organization will have the ability to post job postings in the Job Bank at a member rate! 

Ideal for organizations that have begun to establish themselves and require additional staff to disseminate the work of Americans for the Arts.

Base Level

Benefits for ONE staff/board member

This is an introductory membership for any organization that would like a survey course of all the important information Americans for the Arts has to offer.

Base Members receive all of the basic organizational member benefits and have the ability to nominate one designated staff, board member, or volunteer to take advantage of the opportunities that comes with this membership.

Ideal for start-up arts organizations or rural arts groups with one dedicated staff member or volunteer.

Organizational memberships run on a calendar cycle expiring on December 31 each year. Please contact membership@artsusa.org with any questions about membership periods, joining or renewing, staff rosters, or any other questions you may have.
