With a commitment to strengthening private sector partnerships nationwide, Americans for the Arts draws power from it's national leadership in the field. Together with the BCA Executive Board and the Private Sector Council, initiatives are strengthened, and messages have a futher reach.

Founded in 1967 by David Rockefeller, Business Committee for the Arts (BCA) encourages, inspires, and stimulates businesses to support the arts in the workplace, in education, and in the community. The BCA Executive Board provides leadership on key initiatives including messaging, advocacy, and strategic alliances within the private sector community.

The Private Sector Council is an elected body designed to provide advice and guidance to Americans for the Arts on the design and execution of programs and services that advance private sector support for the arts in America.
