Jordy is the Chair of Americans for the Arts Private Sector Council. She has served as a Commissioner on the Denver Mayor’s Commission on Cultural Affairs and a member of the Board of Directors of the Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund, Arts for Colorado, the Colorado Nonprofit Association and the Stapleton Public Arts Advisory Committee. Having served for 13 years as an associate curator at the Denver Art Museum, Jordy subsequently served as Executive Director of the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities and led the Cherokee Ranch and Castle Foundation. Currently she heads the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts. For her contribution to the Colorado arts scene, she was recognized by the Science and Cultural Facilities District.
