About the Public Art Network (PAN) Council

The PAN Council is an elected advisory body to Americans for the Arts and assists in developing policies, programs and resources to promote knowledge and understanding of the broad field of public art. Americans for the Arts formed a steering committee from the Public Art Interest Area in 1998 to make recommendations concerning the feasibility of the Public Art Network. In 2000, the PAN Council was formed to guide the formation of this new program and act as an advisory body to carry out the goals and initiatives for the network. Please use the links below to find out more information about the PAN Council.
