Public Art Network Listserv
The Public Art Network Listserv encourages dialogue and discussion of critical public art issues. It also acts as a networking tool and research engine for the field. Recent issues that have appeared on the listserv have included a discussion of artist's copyright, best practices in artist selection, insurance for temporary projects, contract information, deaccessioning policies, and examples of public art in public transportation.
In addition to postings by members, the listserv is the home of the PAN Weekly
e-newsletter. Written by the PAN Manager, it is filled with recent articles, artist opportunities, employment opportunities, project announcements, and more. To submit information for the PAN Weekly, e-mail pan@artsusa.org
The listserv is only available to Americans for the Arts members.
If you are already a member and would like to join, e-mail membership@artsusa.org.
If you are not a member, and would like more information, please visit the membership section of the website to learn how to join.
All listserv postings since August 2004 have been archived.
