Award Deadlines
A joint selection committee will review each nominee’s contribution to the advancement of the arts based on the nomination form below.

The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2010 State Legislator, County (Governing Board), and Lieutenant Governor Awards will be announced in the spring.

Award Presentation Dates
Americans for the Arts is currently seeking nominations for the 2010 National Leadership in the Arts Awards. The Gubernatorial and Mayoral Awards will be presented at the U.S. Conference of Mayors Winter Meeting in Washington, DC, January 20–22, 2010. The Congressional Award will be presented at Arts Advocacy Day on April 13, 2010 in Washington, DC.

The County (Governing Board), Lieutenant Governor, and State Legislator categories will be presented throughout the month of July 2010. The County (Governing Board) Award will be presented at the National Association of Counties (NACO) annual meeting in Reno, NV, July 16–20, 2010. The State Legislator Award will be presented in partnership with the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) at their legislative summit in Louisville, KY, July 25–29, 2010. The Lieutenant Governor Award will be presented in partnership with the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA) at their annual meeting in Gulfport, MS, July 27–31, 2010.
